Collective Impact Lincoln to host council candidate forum April 20

Collective Impact Lincoln, our local partnership of Civic Nebraska, Nebraska Appleseed, and the South of Downtown Community Development Organization, will host a Lincoln City Council candidate forum in advance of the city’s general election on May 4.

The 6:30 p.m. April 20 event will be live-streamed on Collective Impact Lincoln’s Facebook event page.

The discussion will focus on topics including housing affordability, neighborhood safety, food access, and health care in Lincoln.

Collective Impact Lincoln is nonpartisan and neither endorses nor opposes individual City Council candidates.

The deadline to register online to vote in the May 4 general municipal election in Lincoln is 11:59 p.m. CDT April 16. The deadline to register in person at the county election commission office at 601 N. 46th St. in Lincoln is 6 p.m. CDT April 23.
