Join the ranks of our nonpartisan volunteer Election Protectors. After brief training, you're set to observe the May 10 and Nov. 8 elections.

It is election season once again! That means we are recruiting volunteers to help with this year’s Election Protection Program. Election Protectors act in a passive role, monitoring elections and polling places, and report their observations and any instances of concern back to Civic Nebraska. We then work with election officials to improve specific aspects of the election process.
Our goal is to have 75 nonpartisan election observers for the May 10 primary, and 200 for the Nov. 8 general election. The more observers we have in May, the better our elections will be in November – so please share our call for volunteers in your networks.
All volunteer Election Protectors will undergo brief (75 min.) training with our Voting Rights Initiative team members. We’ll conduct at least three virtual trainings over Zoom this month – April 20, April 26, and April 28. Feel free to choose one by clicking a date. Recordings will be made available if none fit your schedule.
Questions or concerns? Please, don’t hesitate to let me know.
Thanks for all that you do!
John Cartier, JD
Director of Voting Rights
Civic Nebraska
