It takes everyone

That's why Civic Nebraska reinvigorates community, mutual responsibility, faith in democratic institutions, and citizen power across the state.

Thursday, May 26, 2022, is Give To Lincoln Day. The capital city’s annual “giving day,” like Omaha’s last week, is a great reminder that to strengthen the common good and defend democracy, it takes everyone. That’s why for more than a decade, Civic Nebraska has been at the forefront of building democracy. Every day, we reinvigorate community, mutual responsibility, faith in democratic institutions, and citizen power across the state.
It takes everyone. So we empower young Nebraskans to lead, work within and transform institutions, and inspire others to action via our Youth Civic Leadership efforts.
It takes everyone. So we strengthen social connections, confidence in democracy, community engagement, and political involvement in towns and cities across the state through our Civic Health Programs.
It takes everyone. So we protect Nebraskans’ essential right to vote by fighting for modern, secure, accessible elections statewide through our Voting Rights Initiatives.
It takes all of us to make democracy grow. For Give To Lincoln Day, donate to democracy – support Civic Nebraska.
Be among our first 50 donors of $25 or more and get limited-edition civic swag!
