Friends,

It’s go time. Three hearings have been set for October for Nebraskans to weigh in on Initiative 432, the latest scheme to impose strict voter ID requirements on all voters. This is your opportunity to tell state leaders that Initiative 432 would be costly, complicated overreach into the voting booth that creates negative consequences for every Nebraskan.
Join your fellow Nebraskans in saying No to 432 at one or all of these three opportunities to speak:

North Platte
4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6
Mid-Plains Community College South Campus, McDonald Belton Theater, 601 West State Farm Road

Omaha
1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 11
Thompson Alumni Center, Bootstrapper Hall, 6705 Dodge St.

Lincoln
6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18
Nebraska State Capitol, Hearing Room 1525, 1445 K St.

To prepare, visit NoTo432.org and check out the Field Resources section. There you’ll find facts, figures, and talking points to help state your case.
