NCR Board Member Omaid Zabih to give Freshman Convocation Speech at UNL

by

Nebraskans for Civic Reform is pleased to announce that our very own Board Member, Omaid Zabih will be giving the Freshman convocation speech this Friday to welcome all the incoming UNL students. Zabih has been an advocate for education since his youth
and this passion is something that has carried over into adulthood. “He has constantly been seeking new ways in which he can help motivate youth to follow their dreams” said executive director of NCR, Adam Morfeld. It was this tenacity that led Morfeld to ask Zabih to become a member of the NCR board in early 2011.

NCR is so proud to have one of our board members be selected for this honor. We wish him well tomorrow as he challenges the class of 2020 to make the most of their time at the university. In the words of his favorite tv show Friday Night Lights, “Clear eyes, Full hearts, Can’t Lose”.

In case you are interested in attending, here are the event details.
