Donate to democracy on Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, you can sustain democracy by becoming a monthly sustaining donor. Commit by Dec. 31 and earn some official Civic Nebraska merchandise.

Giving Tuesday – Dec. 3, 2019 – is nearly here. Since 2012, this post-Thanksgiving phenomenon has been a worldwide day of giving for people to give back to organizations and communities that are meaningful to them. It’s also provided a chance to support the causes in which we believe. And if you’re reading this, then it’s a safe bet that democracy is one of those causes – and your donation to Civic Nebraska helps sustain it for future generations.

Civic Nebraska believes our supporters’ investments should be immediately utilized in our schools, neighborhoods, and communities. That’s why we directly leverage every donation to benefit our Youth Civic Leadership, Civic Health, and Voting Rights Initiatives. In addition, every Civic Nebraska staff member, regardless of position, directly supports at least one of these programs. As our capacity has grown, so has our ability to lift up our fellow Nebraskans and create a stronger democracy for everyone.

One way you can help us sustain democracy is by becoming a monthly sustaining donor. As an added bonus, if you commit by Dec. 31 we’ll send you official Civic Nebraska merchandise:

> Commit to $5 a month and we’ll send you a gift card for a friend, co-worker, or loved one noting your donation is on their behalf; or

> At the $10-a-month level, you can enjoy a cold beverage in our official Civic Nebraska tailgating koozie; or

> Give $15 a month and you’ll receive our slick new sweatshirt sporting our Civic Nebraska logo.

Thank you for your support! You make our defense of democracy possible – now and into the future.
