Rachel Andreini
Hello! My name is Rachel Andreini, and I am currently a student at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota. I enjoy reading books and camping with my family. I’m involved in  Lincoln called Kokyo Taiko. Taiko is a kind of Japanese drum.  I’ve dabbled in piano, percussion, and the ukulele – though I am a master of none. I look forward to working as an Equal Justice Corp member this summer!
Sam Colwell
Sam Colwell is excited to become an Equal Justice Corps Fellow and make equal justice happen! He is from Lincoln, Nebraska and is currently attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he plans to graduate in 2019 with degrees in Political Science, Global Studies, and History with minors in Ethnic Studies and Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs. In addition to being an Equal Justice Corps fellow, Sam recently received a fellowship to conduct research on Native American treaty rights and sovereignty in the state of Nebraska from 1850-1950. Some of his volunteer experience includes coaching high school speech, assisting with middle school vocal music summer camps, and canvassing. He intends to pursue a Juris Doctorate and advocate for marginalized individuals.
Fun Fact: Sam has been in over 100 plays and musicals!
Dakota StaggsÂ
Dakota Staggs is an environmental studies major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with minors in Political Sciences and Biology. He is from Phoenix, Arizona and has experience volunteering with the after school programs as well as the Nebraska League of Conservation Voters. Dakota plans to graduate in May of 2018, and begin a career in environmental advocacy in the nonprofit sector.
Fun Fact: Dakota has camped outside of Memorial Stadium to get front row seats at the Huskers football game.
Michael Wilson
I recently graduated from Midland University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. I intend on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Integrated Media Studies at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. My work experience includes working in the retail sales field and as a Student Ambassador in Midland’s Office of Admissions. I also have extensive volunteer experience with the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life where I have served as the Missions and Youth Recruitment Chair and Logistics Coordinator on the Dodge County Executive Planning Committee. I have also worked as an advocate with ACS-CAN Nebraska. Furthermore, I volunteered with the Fremont YES organization along with serving as a Field Intern for multiple state and local campaigns.
