Legislative Session Recap w/Common Cause & Sen. Raybould

Wondering about the impact of this year’s legislative session on Nebraska’s democracy? We’re here to help unravel the mystery. Join Civic Nebraska and Common Cause at 7 pm CDT (6 pm MDT) on Tuesday, June 13, for a webinar discussion about the legislation we saw this session, what it means for our democracy, and our priorities going forward.
We will be joined by State Sen. Jane Raybould of Lincoln. We’ll discuss how to navigate the new voter ID requirements that passed this session and our efforts to inform Nebraskans in time for the 2024 election. We’ll also recap the progress on pro-voter priorities, like expanding mail voting, limiting the influence of big money in our elections, and restoring voting rights to Nebraskans who have served their time for felony convictions.
