Civic Nebraska was founded by politically diverse young Nebraskans for one simple mission: To create a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans.
It’s hard to do that if we have to work with an election system from the 1960’s.
That’s why we pursued and fought for online voter registration in Nebraska for seven years, and together we had it passed into law and launched.
Civic Nebraska has taken it to the next level now and created www.GetRealNebraska.com so that you can register to vote, and then take action on the issues young Nebraskans care about. We are excited to launch it today on National Voter Registration Day.
We will continue to fight every day to modernize our election system, but it doesn’t matter if you don’t take action.
