Nebraskans for Civic Reform is excited to welcome Kinzie Mabon to our team as our new Voting Rights Community Organizer. Read more about her below!
Kinzie is a recent graduate of Scripps College in Southern California where she studied Anthropology and Political Science. Kinzie’s passion for social justice and improving America’s democracy for all was invigorated by on-campus dialogues and activism. In addition to her academic pursuits and social justice advocacy, Kinzie was trained as a Dialogue Facilitator through the Sustained Dialogue Institute, assisting her in creating and supporting collaborative environments.
Returning to Nebraska for two summers to work as an intern for another non-profit organization, she developed an eagerness to improve Nebraska one person, one idea, one vote at a time. As a member of the Nebraskans for Civic Reform team, Kinzie is enthusiastic about building relationships with community members in Nebraska, educating Nebraska voters on their rights, and is excited to help ensure that democracy is accessible to everyone.
