Civic Nebraska was founded on the idea that a strong democracy does not build itself — it takes dedicated people working together to create a civil and civic society. Join Civic Nebraska and hosts Alison Armstrong and Mark Scudder on Nov. 15 as we celebrate Omahans of all ages who emblemize this ideal.

Build Up Omaha 2019 will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Empire Room Omaha, 200 S. 31st Ave., Suite 4107. You can get tickets for Civic Nebraska’s signature Omaha event today. And, if you know of an Omaha-area resident who deserves to be honored at Build Up Omaha, please nominate them here. We’re accepting nominations until Oct. 25.
