Opposing a Constitutional convention

The fight for voting rights is never done.

Opposing a Constitutional convention

The U.S. Constitution allows state Legislatures to apply to attend a convention to propose Constitutional amendments. Congress can convene a convention once two-thirds of states have applied. We cannot support Nebraska’s petition to join a convention because such a process could repeal federal laws and regulations, devastate Nebraska’s economy and weaken crucial federal protections for our voting rights.
