Welcome Anna Grossman – AmeriCorps Civic Engagement Program Manager

by

We’re excited to welcome our new AmeriCorps Lincoln Civic Engagement Program Manager, Anna Grossman, to the team! She will be working with many of our Youth Engagement Program projects in Lincoln, primarily the Civic Action Program. Find out more information about the program and opportunities for students and teachers to get involved here.

Anna is a recent graduate from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Food Science and Technology. She is excited to spend a year working with Civic Nebraska as an AmeriCorps member and working with teens before heading back to school. Anna has previously worked at UNL’s health center, Health Promotion and Outreach department and as an intern at Nebraska Appleseed.
Though Anna’s background is in STEM, her interests lie in creating a more educated and well rounded youth through: science education, civic engagement and facilitating leadership. Aside from working at Civic Nebraska, Anna also is a volunteer staff member for a teen-led youth group in Omaha and spend all of her excess time looking at dogs on the internet.
