We are excited to welcome Kim Albracht to Civic Nebraska as our new AmeriCorps Lincoln Civic Engagement Program Manager. She will manage all of our in school service learning and youth engagement programs that go on in Lincoln Public Schools during the day. Last year our service learning and youth leadership programs were in over 50 Lincoln Public Schools classrooms.

Kim brings to the Civic Engagement team over ten years of experience working with various non-formal and experiential education programs in the performing arts and language arts sectors. As an educator and mentor, Kim encourages awareness and appreciation for diversity, equity, and development. Her professional interest is in encouraging students to develop as active life-long learners and global citizens. After spending more than a decade out of state and abroad, Kim is pleased to be back in her home state to share her passion and knowledge about education and promoting learning for a sustainable future.

Kim holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, and a MS in International and Global Education from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.

We are excited to have Kim as a part of the team!
