Civic Nebraska’s school coordinators at Lincoln High and Lincoln Northeast share the history of May Day and labor movements in the early 20th century, as highlighted in Howard Zinn’s A Young People’s History of the United States. This unit also prompts reflection and for youth to express themselves in an interactive manner.
