Strengthening Democracy Awards 2023

Civic Nebraska’s Strengthening Democracy Awards honor Nebraskans who build a more modern, robust democracy in the Cornhusker State. The keynote speech will be from Desmond Meade, a national voting rights advocate who led the grassroots 2018 effort to restore voting rights to more than 1.4 Floridians with prior felony convictions.

We are returning to Omaha’s Livestock Exchange Ballroom this year and we’re eager for you to join us!
