Service Learning Academy Partner Fair

Service learning is an experiential, collaborative method of teaching that connects academic learning to community-identified service opportunities. Service learning is a high-impact teaching practice that provides real-world application of classroom curriculum. Service learning promotes workforce skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking while utilizing asset-based community engagement. Civic Nebraska will be on hand to share service learning opportunities within our Civic Health, Youth Civic Leadership, and Voting Rights Initiatives programs. Come by and say hi!
