Dear friends,

We hope you enjoy the stories, successes, and milestones that are highlighted in Civic Nebraska’s 2023-24 annual report, Loud & Clear. This report captures not only our efforts over the past year but also the positive impacts flowing from your support of a more modern and robust democracy for all Nebraskans.
This year raised a number of challenges and uncertainties across our state and nation, and we harbor no illusions about the fragile state of democracy in our state and country. But we at Civic Nebraska have never been known to wring our hands and just idly hope for the best. We believe our work can stand as an example of resilience and opportunity in the face of adversity, and of harnessing the collective voice and power of robust civic engagement.
You have made Civic Nebraska’s successes possible, and we cannot thank you enough for your steadfast support. Loud & Clear is not just a compilation of facts and figures – it’s a reflection of the lives Civic Nebraska has touched, the obstacles our fellow Nebraskans have overcome, and the meaningful change that you and others have helped bring. Each page serves as a tribute to your generosity, trust, and commitment to our democracy-building mission.
We invite you to peruse the stories and insights that await. As we gear up for 2024, we’re so very grateful that you stand with us. Let’s continue the positive work of building a truly representative democracy that works for everyone.
Sincerely,

Adam Morfeld
