Dear Voting Rights Advocate,

Amid growing concerns over the spread and impact of COVID-19, I want to update you on changes to Team Voting Rights’ 2020 field plan. To protect our staff, volunteers, and our fellow Nebraskans, we’ve transitioned to digital community organizing – and because our volunteers are a vital part of our efforts, we’ve built a Volunteer Virtual Hub for you to stay informed – and to stay active.

The Volunteer Virtual Hub includes links and training on the 2020 census and get-out-the-count organizing; our Election Protection Program; and get-out-the-vote activities such as phone banking. It also includes step-by-step instructions on how to use our new digital organizing tool, OutreachCircle.

The Volunteer Virtual Hub allows us to continue to grow our organizing efforts together, no matter the amount of social distancing. You can use it to see our upcoming virtual events, to take advantage of training, and to take action like making calls or sending messages about the election and the census.

We need your advocacy now more than ever. So take a look at the Hub and keep organizing for our democracy! Questions? Additional thoughts? Need help? We’re continuing our digital office hours, so don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
