AI & Democracy Community Summit

February 24 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Recent advancements in artificial intelligence, or AI, have the potential to transform democratic systems, processes, and governance. AI-generated tools could help make our elections better, but their ability to aggregate and then generate huge amounts of data – including disinformation – poses urgent risks to election integrity.
Join us Feb. 24 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications as we gather advocates, researchers, and everyday Nebraskans for a discussion about ways to minimize AI’s disruptive effects while maximizing its positive potential for democracy.
